Social Hot 100: Flu flies atop the charts as Bradley reaches a new peak behind at #2

This week on the fandom has been both a blessing and a curse for many, as the anticipated upcoming debut of Daisies on various official charts takes on an emotional and mental toll on most Katycats, some flagging their disappointment for the lack of promo and concern for the single’s commercial run, while others sticking to the mantra of quality before quantity, and in extension, the principle of a “slow burning” hit.

In the middle of those clashing opinions, the real winner was crowned in @fluatbrit (former fluatbrits), who finally reached a #1 peak atop the Hot 100, becoming the 7th account to do so. \Flu\ embodied the very core of Daisies motto: rising above the hurdles. During the first days of the tracking week, his/her original account was suspended and he/she has to start over in recouping followers and rebuilding a brand. And so he/she did: closing this week with 97,784 Likes and 14135 Retweets, to a total LPR count of 111,917 – becoming the second highest LPR count to finish at #1 after @prismatickxty (126,673 LPRs) and the third account to accumulate 100k+ LPR units in a tracking week (the other being @imchained2katy).

Flu also takes home to his/her credenza the titles of Highest Likes Gainer and Highest Retweets Gainer of the week, becoming the 4th account to bag both titles in the same week. This is all largely attributed to a tweet praising the hardworking nature of women artists in the industry compared to their male counterparts.

At #2 is another impressive performer, @thejitterbug759 whom after weeks of changing positions on the better half of the charts, finally settled himself at the Top 10, to new heights at the sophomore position. His career-best LPR count of 31,555 is an amount doubled from his last week’s performance. Third on the loop is veteran @perrycrave , who now spends a stable third week on the Top 3, after peaking the charts on the May 4th edition. Stability remains intact for @likeathornrose who now spends five weeks on the peak position of #4.This is now \thorn\’s 7th week on the Top 5, becoming the most stable entrant on the elite tier. Another phenomena @lightsperrysk might have stumbled a little bit during this week, but still provided enough staying power to close a Top 5 finish.

No. 6 entrant @jjkatyperry is also another fighter who’ve championed their way to the top list of the charts. After weeks on the Top 20-30 spots, he finally manifested enough attractive tweets to catapult himself to the Top 10 with an LPR boost of 22,882, thanks to a controversial Rain On Me tweet comparing it to the classic female collab, Telephone. Making his comeback as a top, @witnessandrea successfully register 18K+ LPRs to secure a position at #7. He previously reached the chart summit on the April 20 issue. @lukasperry and @chainskp continues to hold onto laces within the prestige list by finishing in the 8th and 9th places of the charts. They both already registered six weeks within the Top 10, peaking at #5 and #4 respectively. Closing the charts at #10 is @prlsmfad ,who after debuting last week at Top 20, impressively managed to invade the Top 10 pool, even though his/her tracking performance was less by 2k LPR units than the previous week.

Other notable chart entries:

• @witnessmatt_ reaches #11, a new peak after climbing 10 spots from #21 last week, while @neverreailyover recoups his peak position of #12. @leoswitnesss snatched 16 position up to a new peak of #14.
• @katystwink and @cozyperry registers biggest climbs this week, as both gains 60+ positions to settle at impressive new peaks of #29 and #31 respectively (last week: #95 and #93).
• @katyspartofme_ @katyskettle and @perrysbooty hit their first taste within the Top 40 after rising 30+ positions for this week.
• @muhprism and @cahcashun reenters the charts after dropping out from previous weeks, at #27 and #50 respectively.
• @legendaryluvrxx sets the highest debut, hot shot at Top 20, followed by @kxtyeh (#22) and @thatsonthetruth (#26).
